במהלך השנתיים האחרונות,
כמעט בכל צלילה, יצא לי לראות שברים ושלדים של קיפודי ים מפוזרים לאורך קו החוף במים הרדודים. בכל פעם שנתקלתי באחד כזה תהיתי לעצמי; "מי יעשה דבר כזה... מי הורג בשיטתיות כזו את קיפודי הים?"
